California Grill Fireworks question

Hi..

We made a last-minute 9:20PM reservation (ouch!) at California Grill in 2 weeks. As I understand it, the Fireworks go off over Magic Kingdom at 8:00PM. Will the California Grill permit us up onto the 15th floor porch to watch the fireworks at 8:00PM since we have a reservation? Is there a bar area?

I'm in a similar situation. I have a 9:25 on March 18th, and the fireworks are at 9:00. So I'm wondering the same thing.

I can't say for certain but I think that they will. And yes, there is a bar area. Good luck getting a seat at it.

I actually just called the California Grill directly and spoke with a hostess -- she said "not a problem". We shall see! I know it gets busy up there.

There's a bar and lounge area, but it's not huge. I've been there three times and I'm not sure I ever saw an empty seat.

Also, to get up to the CA Grill, you have to be let into a special elevator on the second floor and get escorted upstairs. So...if you want to try it, you should also be prepared to spend an hour+ shopping / hanging out at the Contemporary if they *don't* let you upstairs.
