My DH and I will be dining at the California Grill on our trip in June. We were there for lunch after they first opened and my DH was dissapointed. He finally agreed to go there for dinner. Please let me know what entree would be your favorite and one that would not dissapoint. I so want him to enjoy this dinner!!!!!!!!!!

Pork Tenderloin!! or the Filet. I have also enjoyed alot of there veggie entree's. Just check out the menus on wdwig.com.

They also will more than likely make some for your mate. just ask.

also this is a "do not skip dessert place"

Kae

Pork tenderloin........or the filet with the barbecue sauce.
Can't go wrong with either one.

For an appetizer, I highly recommend the handmade pork egg rolls with voodoo mustard sauce....or the flatbread with the smoked salmon.

Or, skip the appetizer to save room for dessert.
They're amazing.

I liked the grilled tuna too! It's seared but still rare on the inside... It's very much like eating sushi and the fish is very soft and tender. If you're not fond of raw fish, you can ask to have it made well-done.

sushi sampler and pork tenderloin. DIVINE!:D wish i had room for dessert though, guess i'll have to go back:D

We went to CG on May 17 for our i do not know how manyith time. We had the pork with the sauce on the side (a mushroom and wine sauce) they accidently brought us the wrong one they brought the one for the steak, and with the pork it was amazing. They ran out of both the desserts that we ordered, and only had icecreams left. It did take us over an hour to be sat, but we showed up for our PS early cause we know that they always take forever to seat. My suggestion if you go is to get an early Dinner PS. The later you wait the more of a chance they will run out of things, and not take over an hour to be sat. All in all it was a nice dinner, but hopefully next time they will have the yummy desserts.

Strange as it seems... i usually get a "double" of the goat cheese ravioli appetizer. It's about my favorite thing in the world! With the yummy breads and an awesome desert, I am one happy mouseketeer!:)

I always look to see if there is a fish entree with risotto. They do such an amazing job with it. Last year I had sea bass, this year tilefish, both with risotto, both outstanding. DH has had the sushi and loved it. The flatbreads are great too.

The grilled tuna, my wife and daughter declared it the best they'd ever eaten..............I liked the Mahi - Mahi

The grilled pork tenderloin was the very best I have ever had. DH's risotto was delicious and oh that Banana Bread pudding!

Thanks to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will try to convince my DH to have either the Pork Tenderloin or the Filet. He likes both, so I don't think it will take much convincing. I probably will go with one of the Fish Entrees with Risotto. I LOVE Risotto. Or maybe I will have the Grilled Tuna. Maybe we will split an appetizer so that there is room for dessert. Can't wait to try this restaurant, sure hope my hubby likes it or he may never go back.

Hi Paula... what kind of sauce is with the ravioli? Sounds good

Thanx

Roast chicken may seem boring, but the Free-Range Chicken at CG was sooooooooooooo good. Melted in my mouth--tasted very different from Purdue. My Hubby said the salmon was outstanding, and we both loved the flatbread (ours was fennel sausage) and the Chocolate Hazelnut Crunch Pyramid.

CMMistress... Not sure I can even describe the goat cheese ravioli. First of all... it's ONE large ravioli, very thin pasta, and mild goat cheese. It sits in a very delicious sauce/ broth...kinda beef flavored..and has sun dried tomatoes too. I know it sounds kinda pathetic, but it has an out of this world flavor. I can't do it justice. An apetizer portion is about $9, so I pay $18 for 2. Wish it was "a triple", but with the befores and afters, I'm satisfied.:)

Flatbreat is almost like a wheat pizza bread with different toppings. One of my favorites is onions and mushrooms and cheese. Although it is much more than just that. The taste is out of this world. Sometimes they have a chicken one that is very good, and we have also enjoyed a sundried tomato one. Ok so we really have never had a bad one, and flatbread is always the start of our meal there.

My wife and myself will be eating at CG for the first time on our next trip, so it was great to read what others liked to have. It will be my wife's birthday on the night we go so hope it's as good as everyone says.
