We are thinking about the California Grill for an evening in January. We would love to watch Wishes from there. Do you have to order an entree? Can you just go and order an appitizer and then dessert. Sometimes the full meal is just too much for me, and I'm not a big sushi fan. So the menu I am seeing isn't all that appealing to me. The appitizers and desserts sound wonderful though. Thanks!

When my DW and I dine at most signature restaurants at WDW, including the CG, she almost never orders an entree because she does not eat much either. I make up for both of us. ;) She usually orders a salad and an appetizer. We often split a dessert. They only time we ever got desserts for each of us we were on a CP package. ;)

Some servers seem better with this than others, but there is no requirement to order an entree.

I did not get an entree when I ate at CA Grill. I had a flatbread, soup, and a dessert. The server seemed fine with this, and I left her an extra large tip. Best server I had all week!
