California Grill and Wishes

We have a ADR for 1/15/2011 at the California Grill for 9:15 pm. I have seen other posts about being able to return to view Wishes if you dine before the show, but what about after? Is it possible to go to the outdoor viewing area before your ADR? The calendar shows Wishes scheduled for 8:00 pm.

Yes, if you show up early and ask they will generally let you checkin and head out to the observation deck for wishes. We've done this before, and it worked out well. Just keep in mind it won't get you your tale any quicker to check in early. The should mention this when you check in.

Like thej said check in early and you can head up to the bar grab a drink and head out. Just let them know when you get upstairs that you will be going out to view the fireworks. We did that on both our visits this year with our ressies both being 9:10pm and we checked in at 8:45pm.

They give you one of those buzzers so you know when your table is ready.

The view is amazing from up there its a totally different experience from that vantage point.
