California Grill and the Fireworks question

So I have an ADR for the California Grill at 8:50pm, I guess my question is what happens when the fireworks start, do people go outside, or are they completely visible from the tables in the restaurant? Also with the 8:50pm dinner reservation would it be frowned upon if we only did drinks and deserts? Just curious as we definitely not against eating dinner, just usually never eat that late.

the fireworks view inside the restaurant is only good if you have a window table, which are very hard to come by around fireworks time, so most people go out on the observation deck to see the fireworks (the view is pretty great out there).

Ordering drinks and dessert is not a problem.

Your waiter will pace the food so you have time to watch the fireworks. If we have a really good window seat, we will stay at our table. Most times, people get up and go out on one of the two balconies to watch the fireworks. Music is played at both balconies and inside the restaurant. Once the fireworks are done, go back to your seat and your waiter will bring out the next course. They will also bring you a drink before you go out to the balcony if you desire.
