We're headed to Disney around Thanksgiving. My DD14 and her friend (16) want to go to California Grill on their own. Are there any age restrictions? Will they have any issue dining there? Thanks.

No, there aren't any age limitations at CG. Enjoy!

Back when you still made dining reservations by phone, I wanted to make a Crystal Palace ressie for my daughter and 4 friends (all age 16) who were going to WDW on a school music trip. The cast member was a bit reluctant but was OK with it when I gave a credit card number for them to charge in case there was a problem. We figured out the cost of meal, tax, and tip to the nearest dollar and told the parents that each girl would need that much cash, and everything worked out fine. You might want to call Guest Relations ahead of time and give them a heads up to make sure everything will run smoothly.

It wouldn't hurt for the OP to accompany the kids to the restaurant and explain the situation. That's fair.

My DD14 goes to restaurants with her friends around here. I've taught her how to tip and they do just fine. I wouldn't hesitate to let a 14 and 16yo go to CG by themselves.

same here and this was before cell phones our girls were going to park dining around that ages by them selves. they had so much money and that was their lunch money. only once did they do just junk food and they found out it was wait until dinner. they ended up with their favorites

Same. These two go to the diner across the street on their own frequently. Just wanted to make sure there wouldn't be issues in Disney, especially a place like California Grill. Thanks all.

Same ! Opened up a HS acct for DD15 a few years ago with Chase- she has her own debit card , and best thing ive ever done--- gave her responsibility, and with Apple Pay, she doesnt need to drag her wallet around everywhere
