The night we are planning an ADR for California Grill happens to fall on the same night as MNSSHP. Will there still be fireworks we can enjoy seeing from the restaurant? If the party is from 7pm-12am what time would the fireworks be? Trying to see what time I would need to try to get an ADR. Would it be better to try to schedule it on a "Wishes" night instead? What time would I want the ARD for to catch the fireworks? We have never dined here so I have no idea what to expect.

Thanks!

During MNSSHP there are only a few nights of Wishes, but you can see the party fireworks from the CG. There is a website that lists the times for the fireworks on every day of the year (can't recall what it is called now though  )

I think when we went to CG during MNSSHP, the fireworks were at 9:00 and we had our ADR for 7:30...but we weren't seated for over 40 minutes despite our ADR. It was a zoo...I'm not a fan of the CG after our one experience there. Didn't really see the fireworks well either because we were late to the stampede for the observation deck.

Snowbunny, is the stampede typical? I hate to spend a crazy amount on dinner when part of the appeal for us is to see the fireworks from there as well. Thanks so much!

Well, I've only been there once and it was crazy. There were kids running up and down the floor the entire time (and I do have kids and took them there, but they were not allowed to streak around the restaurant); it was jammed including the bar seating so no place to wait for our delayed ADR except up against the wall; and once the lights dimmed for the fireworks, there was a huge rush for the platform.

CG has *lots* of fans on the Dis, but we thought the menu was interesting but not very competently executed. The food and atmosphere at Artist Point and Flying Fish were so much better. The fireworks, while out there, are not right overhead as they are in the MK.

That said, it's probably something to try once so you know what it's like.
