California Gas Prices

How are the gas prices in California? We will be driving to Disney from Utah in about a week our average is about $3.50 a gallon here. Thx!

I'm in San Diego and regular unleaded by my house is currently $4.19 a gallon

I'm in the outskirts of LA and gas is $4.09/gallon here. Recently I've seen it at $4.99 though (right off the freeway in a touristy area)

The cheapest where I'm at officially crossed the $4 border. Yuck. It's still the cheapest nearby though.

$4.15 at home in northern California just 1/2 an hour ago. We were just at Disney this weekend and noticed that Anaheim prices matched what we pay at home. We paid as much as $4.25 for regular when traveling down I-5, and I believe I saw it as high as $4.37.

Same price here in OC for Premium. I even looked up if I could put regular in my car until prices cool down again, but everything I read said No...

Wow! In my dreams! I get gas at Costco so that has kept it so far just under $4. Everywhere else around here is over $4. Of course, that was last Friday when I got gas. I will be getting it tomorrow or Friday again and then we'll see.

It's a good thing my hotels and tickets are all paid for. Thanks everyone for your responses. Looks like I will be budgeting a lot more in gas than I thought. Oh but Disney will always be worth it

Gas is definitely very expensive! Budget more than you're planning on for sure. I'm paying $4.50+ a gallon for premium gas here in San Diego.

Ugh. Not what I wanted to hear at all.
We are taking a trip to San Diego next month, driving from Las Vegas. Actually we are staying in Carlsbad (got a nice timeshare there for our family of 6), and had planned to drive to the various parts of San Diego each day to see and do different things. Of course this was booked way before I knew gas was going to be so darn expensive.

Holy cow where are you that it is so cheap? CT, MA, RI all at $3.80 or higher (and climbing) for months now. We haven't been down at the low end of $3 since, I don't remember

It still can be had for $3.35 at some locations in Tucson. I was budgeting $4/gallon for our trip in May. I may need to bump that up a little, huh?

I know it's a lot for you guys but remember us poor people on this side of the Atlantic. Current price here is $8.04 per US gallon !!!
