San Dimas, CA here!
We leave in 11 days. We are staying at BCV this time and at BWV last time.
Good luck fellow Californian!

We stayed at BCV this past April, it's truely beautiful.
This time of year, the parks are decorated nicely, and I believe there is a giant gingerbread house erected at BCV, Enjoyed your trip.

We have been members since '98. We have OKW and BC as our home resorts. I normally book at the eleven month window. Two years ago we booked two weeks in June at OKW and BC at just three weeks before we left.

We are from Claremont, just between San Dimas (where my wife works), and Rancho Cucamonga. It is a small world (after all) all us DIS'ers living so close to each other!

This is too cool - so many of you all are from around where I grew up. I have lived in the San Francisco bay area for years now.

I was born in Pomona (more years ago than I care to admit) and lived in Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga and Glendora. If any of you went to Glendora High School and were in class of 86 you need to drop me a PM. I went to GHS for a year before moving up north.

Now that I have the attention of Californians, I have an easy question.
Has anyone seen the DVC preview room in Anaheim? What resort is it modeled after?

The two units are SSR.

My work schedule ( 6 days a week, early morning to early evening) prevents me from being able to call for my reservations, so we usually have to make them online. The one time we got exactly what we wanted, was at our home resort (VB), in May of '05.
Now don't get me wrong, we have always ended up with great accomadations, and we will continue to go to WDW as long as flight costs are reasonable.

Oh, that is a bummer. I definitely heard making reservations online really diminishes your chances of getting what you want. I would either have a trusted family member make the reservations for you or I'd call on my lunch hour or break from work. Hopefully, you figure out something that works.

With one of my timeshares the office is in Florida and it opens at 7 am so I'm up at 4 am making my call. But I'll do whatever it takes to make the reservation.
