California Clue?

The latest issue of Member Clubhouse has this statement, in the section where they talk about the upcoming fall "Vacation Magic":

Also look for "California Dreamin'," the magazine's first recurring section dedicated to news and notes from the Disneyland® Resort.

Could this possibly be a hint that a Disneyland DVC is on the way?

Oh I hope so!!

Actually, I know it will happen because that would be our luck!! We just moved from So. Cal. (less than an hour away from DL) to NC.

Bright side: we can visit our friends back in CA and stay at a DVC resort!! Best of both worlds!!

This year, Disney moved 14 of there Sales Reps/Guides to California. In recent conversation my guide could not confirm nor deny if a DVC was coming to CA, but just indicated to keep my eyes and ears open.

Eventually, but the first "big" announcment is a 10% discount at all churro carts when you show your membership card.

I really hope its not true. DL has no appeal to me at this point. I want to see AKL, CR, or another WDW site first.

A California DVC would be great! We live 20 minutes for DL. We could stay here every other year.

It seems with some of the clues like the DVC reps in DL and more news about DL in Vacation Magic that this may happen some day. Sure they want us to go visit, but DVCers are spoiled with our accomodations. Give me an option for a 1bdr and I may go. But I will not spend a ton of points for a regular hotel room.

Yeah. I couldn't resist some points at Grand Californian if they do a DVC addition there. I love, love that place.

That's surprising. I would have thought that sales would have been relatively modest until a California DVC location was announced.

I'm not surprised. I think the increased traffic at DL due to the 50th is enough to increase sales.

Funny, my guide just came back from California. She was going to San Diego and on the Disney cruise. But.. I thought of that when I read the information in the DVC Member e-mail.
I have a lot of family out west and might add-on to go to DL.
