Ok, so I actually got an ADR for the Cali Grill for 7:10 pm on 6/25 but I have a question for all you experts.

If we get seated close to our ADR - can we then go over to see the 9 pm Spectro & then go back to Cali Grill to see Wishes or am I cutting it too short? On the calendar it says that Spectro is at 9 and Wishes at 10.

Oh - one more thing - how many kids eat at Cali Grill in the evenings? My DDs are 8 & 10 and are usually well behaved when they are seated apart from each other :)

Thanks!

I think you're cutting it too close. Cali Grill is a fine dining restaurant and it has always taken us 2+ hours for dinner. Now, our dinners have always been appetizers, entrees and deserts. I would encourage you to enjoy the California Grill for what it is instead of trying to rush through it to go somewhere else.

There are always some children there, so yours should be fine.

I agree with previous poster in that it sounds like you're trying to cram too much into one evening. It's hard NOT to do that, given all there is to see and do, but I know our family has a better time when we focus on enjoying what we're doing (and Cal Grill is one of our all-time favorites and a must for every trip!) instead of constantly trying to beat the clock to get to the next thing.

If your kids are night owls and you all aren't already exhausted by this point in your trip (and if you really want to wring one more thing out of your evening!), my advice would be to relax and really enjoy your dinner, take a little time to stroll around the Contemp afterwards, and then head over to MK itself to see Wishes. Yes, your receipt from dinner could get you to the observation deck at Cal Grill so that's still an option to see Wishes from there, but I'd give up on Spectro. Aside from everything else, physically managing all that back-and-forth might not be possible (everything takes longer than you think it will).

Have a great trip!
