Rough day at work.
First I walk in and a parent that works there (in the cafeteria) basically vents on me about her child.
Then, I go to a class and I have the wacky substitute from beyond (I'm the inclusion "teacher" for the special education students) One students baits one of my student to say the F word.. (not frankfurters either!).
My student, who is challenged, goes by what this cool troublemaker says and does it... Then the group decided to laugh at my student... When the students laugh, he starts to cry.
So now, I have crying, laughing and the sub is NO HELP! I call the guidance counselor and bring them down. One of the principals decides to talk to the troublemaker...
This was the first period!
Then, I tried for about 20 minutes to get one thing printed... seems that the new computer isn't hooked up right in the reading classroom. Used a disk and nothing worked, since the operating systems dont synch up!
then lunch.. not so bad, the usual throwing, etc...
Then the science class... it was so bad the science teacher told me to get the studnets mother (she works in the cafeteria in the chool). I had to go down to the cafeteria, pull her from her job, etc... I really didn't want to do that, but I did.
Then this same student a few periods later, decides to pick on another student incessantly. The picking becomes an all out fight, with one threatening to kill another
