Oh gosh! Tell me about it.
I had an issue about the mail man delivering my mail to the wrong mail box and us getting others mail, now we have a new mail lady and things are better.

He was nuts, we are in 5926 not 8934 and the street name was different too.

I've lived in my apartment for almost 7 years. Six months ago, my friend mailed me something and it was returned to her as "undeliverable - no such address". HUH??? My sister has mailed me packages that I've never received. And last Christmas, she mailed all gifts to everyone in the states on the same day. (She is in Germany where BIL is stationed.) Everything they ship goes through the APO in New York. Out of everyone that she mailed things to, I am closest to NY. Everyone else had their stuff a week before we did. I just don't get it.

No surprise that I've never missed a bill. Those seem to arrive with no problem.

At the moment, we have no neighbors. We seem to be scaring them off. :rofl: There are four apartments. There is an elderly woman who lives below us. I think she's in Korea visiting her son at the moment. (I'm friends with her daughter, although haven't seen her in a while either.) The other two apartments...they moved out last month. But it sounds like new people will be moving in this weekend. The apartment across the hall from me...this will be the 5th new set of neighbors and the downstairs apartment, it will be the 3rd. (We sorta helped to get the 1st family evicted...after we got tired of their juvenile delinquent son breaking into the house, throwing loud parties and practically lighting the place on fire.)

i have to say we have the nicest post office in our little town. when we first moved here i went in to make sure a change of address item was correct-the person behind the counter said "oh you're new here, we need to give you the by-pass number to the office so if you have any questions about where something is located you can give us a buzz and not get routed through the main call center". i was shocked to say the least!

I think I might want to move to where you live.

I have a friend who lives around the corner from me. She has a different mail delivery person, and she has had nothing but problems with her too. It's this town!! My husband didn't believe me at first...and then he moved in with me. Now he knows. I tell everyone that if they are sending things to me, to include delivery confirmation because that's about the only way that it will get to me quickly.

I send stuff to my sister in Germany. I can mail it on Saturday and she'll have it on Monday. She mails something to me, and it takes two weeks.

That is how it is for my Mom in NE. She is on a first name basis with the postmistress. She comes to AZ for the winter and Viv forwards her mail on a monthly basis. If Viv thinks something important has arrived she will forward it immediately. I AM SO JEOLOSE!
