Calendar sent/received thread....COMPLETED!!

Talked to the boys. The youngest is very ashamed. He took it opened it and gave the calendar to his mother for her birthday present.

After a long discussion, it was decided he will help with the flowerbed this weekend to "pay" me back. So, do I tell his mother, or do it let it go at this? I think I am going to keep it quiet because she has a lot on her plate right now.

Sounds like a tough move to make.
But we now know what happened to the calendar and it is no longer a mystery.

This is Just my opinion so take it as that OK

first i am glad the mystery is solved but i am looking at it a little different.

As a mom I would want to know if my kids were Stealing. I mean i know it was only a Calendar however i am guessing most theif start small.
I know you said she has alot on her plate and i understand ehy you may not want to burden her but I would most likely approach it as this

" i just want you to know about a situation with your boys
I think we have handled it but thought you should know"

and than tell her what happened and that you have worked something out with the boys

As a mother if my kids were doing that you didn't tell me and i found out later (like the kid had an attack of guilt) i would be upset that you didn't tell me



OKAY all that said only you know these people and if you think telling her would be a really bad idea than don't
I was just looking at it as how I would feel if my girls stole something

Hey everyone, Got home at 1 am and was to tired to post.

I got A 2year planner w/ this cute puppy and kitten on it.
Paradise calendar w/ great pics of the beach and plam trees.
our family calendar will keep track of everyones schedule this will work much better then all the stickies I have on my calendar now.

Added....I have to agree with Kayla. As a mother, I would want to know. Stealing for whatever reason, would not be okay with me.

Jessica got an awesome Mad Libs calendar
and the great part is that Jess has been addicted to Mad libs
since she was 8

and a bunch of stickers
she gave the princess ones to her sister and decorated her bedroom door
with the care bears
