Calculating upgrade to Annual Pass

I am trying to calculate how much it will cost to upgrade one of our tickets to an annual pass. Problem is, I have absolutely no idea of what I've actually paid for tickets or what the nightly rate of the accommodation is. We've booked a Full Hookup site at Fort Wilderness from 26 June to 6 July with 10 day tickets including the Hopper Plus option. We have 5 adults. For this we have paid a total of $4,528.60. We booked last year but originally booked base tickets and added the hopper plus about 4 weeks ago. I'm not sure how to come up with a breakdown. My agent has told me the price of tickets now but I'm pretty sure this is not what we've paid. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Unfortunately, I don't think there is a way to look this up or plan ahead of time before getting there.

I'm trying to do something similar ... I have a 5 day park hopper in my name from last August. I had an AP at the time, but I had to buy the ticket in order to get free dining with the rest of my family who didn't have an AP. So now my AP is expired, and I was trying to figure out how much it would cost to upgrade the 5 day to an AP. I called Disney, and was told it is something that has to be done in person at a guest services desk. They transferred me to a ticket sales rep, and the best she could do was look up what a current 5 day hopper costs, check my discounted AP renewal rate, and give me a very rough estimate.

A rough estimate for you would be ... 10 day park hopper with a start date of June 26 is about $584. Platinum AP is $894. So a difference of $309.

1. The price of the park tickets is not discounted when buying a resort package.
Whatever is the full stand-alone price of the kind of tickets that you ordered at the time that you booked your trip (or the date that you altered your booking) is the amount that your tickets cost.
2. So to compute, you should use the cost of a 10-day Hopper Plus at the end of April, 2019. (The date about "4 weeks ago.")
3. The method used to compute the cost of upgrading is in Post #6 of the "All About WDW Tickets and Upgrading" Thread.

1. Sorry, that's not the case. I have worked hard to try to provide the exact information for folks on this board.
2. To compute, you should use the cost of a 5-day Hopper from the end of August, 2018. (That info is linked in the post referenced below.)

4. No surprise there, unfortunately. Calling "Disney" is too-often a futile venture.

Be careful calling Disney!

I called to inquire and was quoted the price of a Florida Resident rate twice on two separate phone calls. They didn’t realize they were quoting resident rates, they both swore it was out-of-state pricing but it just didn’t add up for me. On the third call, we figured it out. Their systems are automatically set to Florida where they are located. They need to manually sign out and sign back in to pull up out of state prices.

Thankfully, I had Robo’s info!

I bought 9 day tickets after the price increase of March 12 from stock on hand (so without the price increase). I paid $447.28. Is there a way to determine what the cost to increase to the Gold Annual Pass would be?

Thank you

Ideally, you should pay the difference between the value of your tickets (at the pre-March price increase price) and the current gate price of the AP's you want (at time you do the upgrade.)

Periodically, I have had in-park CM's quote me the wrong price for an upgrade. If so, walk away and try again.

1. From WHOM did you buy those tickets?
2. If you bought from a discounter, what you PAID for the tickets does not figure into the cost of the upgrade.
3. I'm sorry, but I don't have access to a list of "Disney Prices" for the short period of time "before March 12, 2019."
The "Disney price" at the time your tickets were minted is the price you need to use to compute the cost of the upgrade.

Tanks everyone. I've done lots of googling and I've come up with this. No idea if it's right but hoping I'm close.

From the Walt Disney World site I've come up with nightly rates for the accommodation. I have the first two nights as $110 per night plus tax (12.5%??) and the remaining 8 are $139 per night plus tax. This gives me $1332 + tax totalling $1,498.50. Deduct this from the total we have paid ($4528.60) which leaves $3196.60. Divide this by 5 people gives me $606.02 per person per ticket. Then I have annual pass of $894 plus 6.5% tax totalling $952.11, a difference of $346.09 to upgrade. Does this sound like I'm in the ballpark?

Maybe ballpark, but you can figure it out exactly by using the links in the ticket sticky to find the value of the tickets when you booked the trip. What type and length of ticket? I’d be wary of working at it using the price of your package. (The $952.11 price is correct.)

We originally booked base one park per day tickets in about September last year. Then about a month ago added the hopper plus option with a start date of 26 June.

You did not need to do any of those complex calculations to determine the cost/value of your current tickets.
I gave you a link in my Post #3 of the thread on which we are now posting on which to look up those exact prices:

Quote:
3. The method used to compute the cost of upgrading is in Post #6 of the "All About WDW Tickets and Upgrading" Thread.
-----------------------------
From that Ticket Sticky Post #6 page:

Ticket bought as part of a WDW Resort Package:
-or-
Ticket bought at a Disney Store:
A __ Created BEFORE Feb.12,2017 - (2016) Prices HERE.
B __ Created BETWEEN Feb.12,2017 & Feb.11,2018 (2017) Prices HERE.
C __ Created BETWEEN Feb.11,2018 & Oct.16,2018. (Early 2018) Price list HERE.
D __ Created BETWEEN Oct.16,2018 and March 12, 2019. (Late 2018) (Price list unavailable.)

E __ Created ON and AFTER March 12,2019. (2019) Price list HERE.
-----------------------------
You would use "E" as you stated that you last upgraded your tickets late April of 2019.

So, an ADULT 10-day Park Hopper Plus
valid starting on June 26, 2019 would be $644.05.

-----------------------------
From the same Ticket Sticky Post #6 page:

E __________
Find the full Disney current 2019 price for the kind of ticket that you HAVE on the 2019 Price list HERE.
Subtract that 2019 price from the current full Disney price for the kind of ticket that you WANT on the (same) 2019 Price list.
Pay that difference price for the upgrade.
-----------------------------

ADULT 10-day Park Hopper Plus valid starting on June 26, 2019 w/tax = $644.05
AP w/tax= $952.11

$952.11
-644.05
=308.06

Cost to upgrade one of your ADULT tickets to AP = $308.06
