We are trying to calculate 60 days before the 14th April for a PS and the PS Calculator gives a date of 12th Feb.

When I was on the phone today booking another PS I asked for confirmation of this date and was told that 60 days before was 13th Feb.

When we counted up the days we agreed with the Disney date !!!

Is the PS Calculator correct?
How are these dates worked out?

We are confused.....help please:confused:

I just used the PS caculator and typed in April 14th 2002. It says to make PS reservations on Feb. 13th.....Maybe you typed in the wrong date? Anyway, the PS caculator gives the same date that the CM on the phone gave you.

Hope this helps!

We have just done it again, for bout the 5th time and are still getting 2/12/2003 as 60 days before 4/14/2003

I am not sure if this is makes a difference but we are in the UK

It should not make a difference if you are in the UK. What/Whose calculator are you using?

I like the one from this site:

http://pscalculator.net/index.html

That calculator does show 2/13/2003 as the 60 days prior to 4/14/2003. FWIW, I've found it to be very accurate. You can also sign up for their announcement service.

I think that is the one we are using

here is a screen shot of the result we get

Believe it or not there does seem to be a problem when people are using it from Europe. I can only guess that's because it's Javascript and, depending on the time of day it's used, the date on the PC is different than Orlando and throws off the calculation.

Javascript is a client based system and thus uses the date it finds on the PC. I have been chasing this problem for a long time but have not resolved it. Any Javascript gurus out there who have any ideas?

Sorry for the inconvenience!! :(
