I got my kit - THANKS - I have started putting it together.

We didn't get married so it was funny having our Familymoon first - but he has seen the charm of Disney. YEAH

I was thinking of making a bookmark for one of the elements with the Johnny Aooleseed "prayer" on it. Would this offend anyone? If so its not a big deal to change it. Just wondering.

Can you believe my little guys have never been to the beach or seen an ocean? I guess I could take them to the fake beach at the lake. Would a picture like that work with your layout?

Wouldn't bother me at all- in fact I remember using that as a child many a time.

I am fine with that although it sounds like some people would prefer it to be a little on the sandy side.

I changed my mind, again. I looked at the forest and friends line at Mikes today and decided to go with a generic "summer outside" theme. Great colors for boys and girls.

I've been doing some maths and looking at my papers - I promised DH I'd use some of what I had because my totes are giving way under the strain and I've worked out two ways I can do this:

1) Use a CTMH paper pack for each month, so all the months will have the same papers and cardstock (I have two packs which will be good for the months I've chosen)

OR

2) we can go a bit and I can use a different paper and cardstock for each person's set (so i actually use some of my Basic Grey instead of collecting it ) so every set will have matching pieces, but each set wil be a different pattern (but along the same general colour shceme appropriate to the month) [Some sets will be CM or Daisy D as not all my papers quite fitted, but broadly pinky/green for June and gold/brown for Sept.]

What do you think?

I think you should either

A- use up the most paper possible

or

B- go with what will be easiest for you



I am fine with my things not being completely and totally matching. As long as they look nice together, I don't care if the pink in the pattern doesn't isn't the same as the pink in the solid. As long as they are tonal, meaning you aren't putting a bright with a pastel, it'll work.

Within each set, everything will match (I have the "matching" Bazzill for most of the BG so not a problem with colours ) but each set will feature a different piece of paterned paper (so no two sets will be the same).

Or if I go for the CTMH option each piece in a set MAY have a different piece of patterned paper, but they all come from one pack so should "work" with each other and the cardstock.

I feel guiltiest about how long I've been hoarding some of the the BG (it really is almost too pretty to cut ) but the CTMH will be less brainwork I might just go for one of each - never call me indecisive
