Are there any Disney dining spots that serve calamari "Rhode Island style?" Drizzled with butter, garlic & hot pepper rings....Oh, sooo good! :dance3:

That is my favorite way to eat calamari!

We had it at Mama Melrose once and it had the peppers with it but the calamari was so heavily breaded...not the greatest.

House of Blues has oily calamari with hot pepper flakes
dont think its the same but might be similar

Thats the way we like it too, Jasper Whites does
a good one. At WDW Il Mulino and Mangino's have
very good ones but without the RI style. I never
understood Fulton's Crab House, they are always
waving how fresh thier seafood is and then what
do they do? They serve this silly looking sticks of
squid that has been processed to death! oh well.

Narcoossee's had calamari with pepper rings, and it was only lightly breaded and not greasy at all. It does have tentacles, though, but if you're an afficionado, you probably know that! I had never seen it like that until DH got it, and said it was just like what he had in Italy. I ate the rings and he had the whole "creatures"! :lmao:

Love me some tentacles...my family fights over em!!

I ate at Fulton's 3 or 4 years ago and I remember the calamari being really good. Sounds like there's been a change!! Anyone else confirm??

Its got to be around three years since we
have been to Fulton's, but I do remember
that lousy calamari. And yes the tentacles
are the best!

I had Calamari at Spoodles not too long ago. It was served with Pepperocini Relish. It was good but a little too salty.

This sounds sooo good, I love calamari, but I never had it prepared this way before. I am also curious to know if anyone has it.

We've had the calamari at the Flying Fish. It's the best I've ever had. It had a Vietnamse dipping sauce.
