Cakewrecks

I LOVE Cake Wrecks! I follow them on Twitter now, too, so I never forget to check out what's new.

My dad's a nuclear engineer and loved the "celebrating the 30th anniversary of Three Mile Island" cake, complete with glow-sticks.

I love Cakewrecks! It's one of my favorites and I visit the site every day. I even asked for the book for Christmas!!!!

this is so funny!
some nice pictures also.

brought back a long forgotten memory of making a Croquembouche !

many years ago we saw on a cooking show about making one. pile up home made creampuffs & drizzle on the spun/drippy sugar stuff.
looked really cool. so we decided to make a practice one before the christmas family event.
we didn't think the 'cream' would hold up insides, so we just piled up the puffs & went to drizzling. looked spectacular, really...... until......... we tried to pull the puffs off. it was stuck so hard with the drizzling you could not get ONE stinking puffs off! a solid mass it was..... we just died laughing.
ok, maybe you had to be there, but I sure wouldn't recommend making one :rotfl2:

What I can't believe is ALL of the cakes are made professionally.

I laugh every time I look.

I am sitting here with tears running down my face and attempting to :rotfl: silently at the photos and comments on this blog. Which is not a good thing at work... ;)

I kind of like the Abominable Snowman cake, but some of those cherry blossom cakes are so awful. :rotfl:

Congradulatons.......I just read this blog for 3 hours and went through 6 kleenex! Thanks "SO" much for posting this.

I saved to my bookmarks, so funny!
