Cake questions....

I am having my first ever meeting on Tuesday , but I figured someone (if not EVERYONE) here might be able to answer a couple of cake questions....
First, for the food/bev. minimums (ex. $75/person for events starting prior to 2pm).....does the cake count towards that? On the DFTW site, they show some menus and some of lunch menus are $45/person. I assume/hope that the cake and beverages can add to the menu to meet the minimum? I didn't see any menu I liked that much, but I figure I can make a few changes.
My other question is regarding the mini-cakes. Any idea how much they run??? Obviously it varies depending on the type of cake, but has anyone looked into it, or has/is getting them????

Ah, for once a question I can answer!

yes, the cake and beverages count towards your minimum. The prices per person vary from $8.50 to about $15 I think depending on the type you choose. I THINK that the mini cakes are $22 each if I remember correctly. That was for the mickey's delight though, so I bet the ones with the choc castle are more than that.

Also, to get to your minimum you might add a few things - I know we added chocolate covered strawberries and a few extra appetizers to ours.

The cake does count toward your min...
I loved those little cakes...my issue was i wanted the big cake as well...so they got cut...but from what i recall those little cakes run about 15 to 24 dollar each....depending on design...

I would like to do those mini cakes as favors... I thought that would be a nice idea
