I tried online this morning at 8am and it was sold out. I then called two Kohls and one had them in stock so I headed on over. I was able to get two for that price (14.99 - 20%) plus the $10 rebate !!! I am so thrilled !!! Keep trying online as they will come in and out of stock.

Just got 2! At first they were ringing up as $24.99. The cashier called housewares and they said the $14.99 was after rebate. I had to go walk back there to show them the sigh that said $14.99. Pain in the neck but worth saving the money!

Our store has plenty of them, but they're not on sale? The housewares person said that it was a part of the 8am-1pm early bird sale on Saturday. She didn't really seem to know much anyways. Ugh. No cake pop maker for me.

My store would not honor the price. They said the price was $24.99 and then AFTER the rebate the price is $14.99. They had a memo from corporate because people had been coming in all day trying to get the $14.99 price. I told them they were $14.99 online and they said, "Yeah, after the rebate form gets filled out which a person is prompted to do when they are making their purchase."

We went round & round on this. I read on a different deals message board that other people were having the same problem. Some got the store to honor the $14.99 price and others didn't. I then drove to another Kohl's a few miles away and was told the same thing. They said there's no way those things would go for $2 after a rebate and that Kohl's would not honor the rebate.

At least some people here were able to get the deal. I wasn't.

Go fig, I had JUST bought a cake pop maker a couple of weeks ago on kmart.com (so I can use my sears associate discount) and it was about $18. Sad thing is, I only did that because I couldn't find it anywhere else, includng my local Kohl's.

Although, considering the chaos this sale apparently caused, maybe I was just better off with the one I already had. I mean, I've already used it and such.

I decided to go to Kohl's again and see if I could get the discount since a different shift was working vs when I went this morning (Kohl's is open until midnight this week). This time I took the online printout showing the price for each page all the way to the "submit" button. However, I said the order would not go through when I clicked "submit" because they were out of stock.

The cashier rung them up at $24.99 each. I told her they were $14.99 online. She said she'd call a manager, but before she called, I showed her my print-outs. She said, "Oh, okay, since I see the price I will honor it." Then she did a price over-ride and I got them for $14.99 each less the 20% discount that Kohl's is giving to everyone today and tomorrow. The rebate forms spit out with my receipt, so I'll send them in and hope for the best.

I'm so glad I was able to get the deal afterall! Between that and getting a free battery-charged Norelco men's razor with a $30 off coupon, I did good today!
