Cake delivery to room

I ordered a birthday cake to be delivered to our room. My hope is that it will be delivered while we are in the parks and be a surprise when we get back to the room. Does anyone know if someone needs to be in the room for the delivery?

Nope, no one needs to be in the room. We had ours delivered at 12:00 for my DDs birthday, and we got back at 12:30 and it was there waiting w/plates, napkins, cutting knife, and forks. We were staying at the Poly. The cake was awesome!

No, usually at deluxe resorts. You can order a cake from one of the resort bakeries and pick it up though.
