Cake at Rose and Crown on July 4th

Any experience with getting a cake at Rose and Crown? I graduated with my doctorate in December and we are taking a celebration trip in July. Our first night is July 4th. We have reservations at 8:40 at Rose and Crown with illuminations and fireworks at 10:00. I have never done a cake before, but want to surprise my children. Any ideas?
