Trip Report Day #5
10 day trip (Dec. 11th to Dec. 20th)
Thursday Dec. 15th
Thursday is our EPCOT day. Katie and I left early so we could get to EPCOT for the rope drop. We were also scheduled to meet up with my parent at 4pm for our Candlelight processional dinner at Le Cellier We arrived via at EPCOT via bus before the official opening. When they opened we headed to Soarin. We tried to cut through near Innovention but were stopped until the main entrance dropped the rope and then we were all escorted to the Land. Soarin again was fantastic. After Soarin we ate some breakfast inside the Land. After breakfast we rode Living with the Land. When the ride was over we toured the Living Seas and Turtle Talk, Imagination, and then Universe of Energy. We didnt ride Mission Space, I didnt want to take the chance of feeling queezy the rest of the day. Maybe next time we go to EPCOT. It was lunch so we headed to Mexico to share a combination platter and some margaritas! Yummy! After lunch we rode Rio De Tiempo in Mexico, the Maelstrom in Norway, and Reflections of China 360 movie in China. It was then time to head to Canada to catch Off Kilter before our 4:20pm reservations at Le Cellier. All the food at Le Cellier was fantastic. I highly recommend you dine there if you can. Also I recommend the Candlelight package. It was very convenient. Once we were finished with dinner we walked to the American Garden Theatre for the 6:45 Candlelight Processional. This was a great show. I highly recommend it. Lou Diamond Phillips was our narrator. By this time its getting cloudy and windy. After the show was over we again headed to Mexico to stake our a place for the holiday version of Illuminations. While waiting it started drizzling on and off sightly. After the fireworks we all took the bus back to the resort.
If you have any questions, let me know.
Day #6 of 10 to come soon.
