Trip Report Day #4
10 day trip (Dec. 11th to Dec. 20th)
Wednesday Dec. 14th
Wednesday was our second day at the Magic Kingdom.
Again Katie and left before my parents. We were to meet up with them for dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern. Katie and I grabbed a quick bite at Roaring Forks and then took the boat over to the MK. Since we took in a lot of the Christmas stuff on Tuesday we didnt have time to see anything in Tomorrowland so thats the first things we did. Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear, TTA, and Stitch. We both agree that Stitch is terrible, get rid of it! Then throughout the day, in no particular order that I can remember we saw the things we missed the day before. Toontown, Tom Sawyers Island, Hall of Presidents, MK steam train ride, and Main Street shops, including Exposition Hall. We also went to Pirates and Haunted Mansion again. For lunch we ate at Pinocchios Village Haus. Figaro Fries are the bomb! Later on in the afternoon we met up with my parents at Liberty Tree Tavern. The food was excellent and the dining discount card was used. After dinner Katie and I decided to head to EPCOT since we were finished with the Magic Kingdom. We took the monorail to EPCOT and upon entering we headed to Soarin. We only waited 10 minutes and we got to sit in the front row. This ride is awesome! Dont miss it! We then headed to Spaceship Earth and Test Track. No wait on both! It was almost time for Illuminations so we headed to Mexico to get a snack. How about some nachos! We had an excellent view from the small bridge near Mexico. I recommend this spot for viewing Illuminations. The xmas version of Illuminations was fantastic. I think is now my favorite fireworks show at Disney. We finally headed back to the Wilderness Lodge for the night.
