Due to a stomach issue I can not have drinks with sugar or caffeine, as you can imagine this limits me a lot. Do any of the restaurants have caffeine free diet soda, I am stick of drinking water or de-cafe coffee.

My mom drinks diet caff free pepsi & I think she gets it @off site. They might have diet caff free coke. It's just my mom likes Pepsi better. I'm sure they have diet sprite or something. Good luck!:goodvibes

I could be wrong, but i dont recall seeing any kind of diet/caffeine free pop at all in any of the restaurants.

I believe I have seen a couple of the resort drink areas that have Sprite Zero. That's the only one I've seen.

At the CS restaurant at AKL, The Mara, Fresca has been available as a fountain drink. That is the only place I've seen Fresca at WDW. Some places have Sprite Zero.

Have you considered traveling with either crystal light single serve packets or something like the fairly new Mio liquids? They have several flavors and they mix very easily in with water - i keep one in my purse and order water when out a restaurants and just add it - saves a couple dollars each time. They are sugar free and caffeine free.

I haven't seen diet caffeine free sodas but my DH was able to get at least one of the following everywhere we ate at WDW: Diet Minute Maid Lemonaide (or some variety of it such as pomegranate), Sprite Zero or Seltzer.

I know the POP food court had caffeine free Diet Coke along with lite lemonade and possibly Sprite Zero, but I don't recall seeing that many options at the restaurants.

Just a word on a the "zero" drinks - I know they're supposed to be 0 calories, so one would assume they have no sugar in them. I beg to differ. I have Type 1 Diabetes so I only drink diet soda. I've tried a zero product twice now and both times it shot my blood sugar levels up just as if I had drunk a regular soda. So be warned!

They don't have Fresca anymore. I was there in June and no Fresca. I do believe they have Sprite Zero.

I too cannot have sugar or caffine.....I gave up last time and just had water, twist of lemon (if possilbe).........not worth the risk.

I've been to Disney pregnant and while nursing, so no caffeine, and I don't want the calories of a sugar soda. So, both of those trips, I remember drinking a LOT of that pomegranate lemonade. It was my only option at a lot of places.

Wow! That is really terrible. My pre-diabetic mom drinks Zero products all the time. Are you sure it was the soda and not something else you consumed with it? :scared1:

We went in May 2010 and I was pregnant. It was very hard to find diet caffeine free soda. Les chefs de France had diet caffeine free coke! It was a nice treat. Good luck

Sitting here drinking a Coke Zero right now, reading the ingredients, zero calories, no sugar, does contain aspartame.

Im in the world now and have seen a lot of sprite zero, lite lemonade, and lite pomegranite pink lemonade.

Go to DTD and walk to the Hess Station across the street and buy what you need. There is also a Hess in walking distance from the Boardwalk. For transportation just go to DHS and take the boat (or walk) to BW and then go over to the Hess at the end of the driverway.

I've never seen caffeine free anything, and I wouldn't trust it. They have Sprite and the lemonade mixes. You could also bring cold brew tea bags and use it with bottled water.

My Type 1 DD drinks Coke Zero with no effect on her bg.:confused3 Of course...YDMV (your diabetes may vary).

It is certainly possible that it was something else, but I get a very specific sugar spike from regular soda and this was exactly like that.

Maybe I need to try it again to make sure....
