Would they do a to go order? Just want to have some of their yummy beignets and pomme frites and not really sure we'll be eating a whole meal. Anyone ever gotten these things to go?

They don't do takeout, the last I'd heard.

We asked about T.O. last year and there was a big no, but you can order whatever suits your taste buds.

You can order the beignets to go at the window around the back of French Market. It's called Mint Julep Bar.

They also sell them at the Royal Street Veranda- the place where they also sell the soup breadbowls.

If you want pommes frites, you'll have to eat-in!

They have containers to take your leftover food away with you. But I think you'd need to be seated, order, and THEN ask to take your food away.

But they won't care if you just want those items and then eat them at the table. Just get what you want!

I would just tell them.. your going to put it in your own container and will go. It may be easier on them too.

I don't think they will do that...you have to be seated and order. If you needed to leave after you order I'm sure they will box your meal but it won't matter if you have your own containers or not. CO does not offer take out, they are a dine in place only.

They don't do takeout. Yes, you can "trick" them into doing it but you should tip big to balance out the karma and you'd still need to go through all the sit-down stuff like waiting for a table, placing the order, getting the food on plates, etc.

I really wish they did takeout orders for the fries if nothing else. Open up a little "fry window" or something.
