I did both LN and cafe mickey on my last trip and CM was far better food wise and millions better character wise. So if you only get time for one go for CM.

Lots mroe characters and as others have said you dont have the risk of missing them while you're at the buffet queueing!

I think Torsies post just goes to show that people have different experiences - as our lunchtime meal at the Lucky Nugget, and our character interaction there, was far better than dinner at Cafe Mickey (we saw more characters too, including the Main Mouse and Minnie, at the Lucky Nugget). Honestly, the characters came round to our tables at the Lucky Nugget so many times it was unreal!

I think it also depends who is in your party - as the buffet suits the children better I feel.
