Silly question: dd wants to surprise dh with the mini Cadbury Cream Eggs in his carry on. I'm trying to figure out if they would be allowed through TSA or not. Any ideas?

I think you would have to get a pretty power tripping TSA agent to raise a flag. Plus I doubt it's enough liquid per egg to even be a problem.

You should be fine.

Unless of course you're carrying a couple kilos of them.

The general rule of thumb is that if it holds it's shape outside of the container it's NOT a liquid. I'm pretty sure that the center of those eggs would hold the shape. Plus, the mini ones that I've had were a lot more solid than creamy.

Fondant is basically icing. I don't think icing is generally considered to be a liquid. The TSA agent would have to be pretty crazy to not allow it, IMO.

If they do consider them liquid, just put them in a quart sized ziplock baggy for security, they are most definitely less than 3oz.

If they're melted, they're liquid. :rolleyes1

Only a hungry TSA agent would disallow them.
