Cabs out in Downtown Disney?

I want to go from DTD and take a cab to the Orlando Premium Outlets, does anyone know if they have cabs hanging around DTD during the day or do I have to call a cab company? Or is there a better way you've found to get there?

We never had a problem getting cabs on our most recent disney trip. They were always outside our hotel lobby (onsite) and outside all theme parks, both Disney and Universal, and downtown easy. We never had to call for a cab, they were always on hand.

Thx! I thought they were at DTD, but just wanted to make sure.

There are three taxi stands at Downtown Disney. One is by the World of Disney, another by Planet Hollywood, & a third by Disney Quest.

You can pretty much always find a taxi by World of Disney. The other two sometimes don't have taxis until later in the day.

I keep a couple of Orlando Taxi company phone numbers programmed in my phone's contact list just in case...they are usually no more than a few minutes away.
