First trip to the World this winter, and wondering if a lot of the cabs that hang out by the resorts/parks can handle groups, or do people with large groups take 2 cabs?
We will be staying on-site @ BLT, and don't want to drive as we don't know our way around the World and the cost of renting a van for 8 people (5A, 3C ages 5-7) is prohibitive and the ME experience sounds fun to us since we're used to making our own way from the airport to Disneyland.
We think we'll be okay with going to at least 2 parks: MK, Epcot via boat/monorail/walking, then plan on taking the bus one way to the other two (AK/DHS) then taking a cab on either the way there or the way back to keep things a bit shorter time-wise, depending on what time we wake up, when we quit, etc which we're going to play by ear. This plan still comes out much cheaper than renting a van (even with the cost of grocery delivery from WeGoShop to our villa figured in).
