I like Fox. I'm a conservative and I like the conservative slant they put on their news coverage. I'm convinced that all the news channels have a slant to their coverage-Fox is just more open about it.
:thumbsup2 :cheer2: YAY FOX NEWS!

Hate to bump my own thread, but does anyone else notice the growing trend for these networks having really really pretty (and young) women as their "Republican Strategists"? Some of these women barely look a day over 30.

Fox has been doing this for some time now, but I notice MSNBC and CNN trying to keep up.

I watch a good mix of them all. I also watch BBC news 4 or so times a week.

edited too add... I watch BBC news because generally speaking the US does a horrible job reporting news outside of the US and in fact the BBC is often reporting stories from the US that aren't even shown on our news

I read the BBC online and participate in their message boards, which are called Have Your Say. It's funny, on the DIS I come across as a liberal but on the BBC people regard me as very conservative. When on the BBC, I often find myself defending the USA and calling Europe on its hypocrisy.

Here's an example of the slant Fox puts on it (and I notice CNN does it sometimes the other way before I get flamed):

I was watching Faux news tonight, and Gibson (I think that's his name) brought up the Plume case and how her and her hubbie are suing. So, well since they are "fair and balanced" they had an "expert" come on and debate it with Gibson and use his expert knowledge on the matter to debunk what's going on. Just who was this expert? A former member of the Reagan white house. :rotfl:

Also, I watched O'Reilly the other night and I use it for comedy relief. Here's what he does...

Bill: So tell me what's going on with the Democrats efforts in taking back Congress.

Guest: Well Bill, the Democrats seem to be finding a common message...

So two seconds into the guest's reply to his question, Bill chimes back in with his own answer to his question and doesn't let the guy talk. I want to go on that show and just scream at him, like he does to his own guests.

Whoever posted about the ratings freefall for Fox was right. Even O'Reilly is waaaay down, and Olberman (his rival) is way up on MSNBC.

Maybe if Fox spent more time reporting on the news they'd stop the bleeding.

I prefer Jon Stewart and the Colbert Report but I guess that I'd choose CNN out of the choices given. :)

It seems that as the president's ratings fall, the cheerleaders fall too.

Not sure how they can justify the "Fair and Balanced" motto.

I like Keith on MSNBC, but really watch CNBC the most of all.

I like Fox the best altho I think they sometimes get a little overdramatic.

CNN is second choice tho I cant stand Jack McCaffrey(he seems to be the worst of their libs)
