Cable internet question?

We just got cable internet and I love the speed. Because I am the only one in my family to use the DIS, I am the only one to sign on so I am always signed in. Does that mean that I always have the yellow check next to my name that means I am online, even when I am not at the computer. Because as the advertisement says " you are always online."

Nope. You need to actually be clicking and active on the site to stay as 'online' - after about half an hour or so of inactivity you'll automatically go to being shown as offline.
