i just realized that i haven't thought about bringing any childproofing eqpt. with us for our 3 just-turned 2 yos.! my kids don't get into a ton of stuff, and they generally don't climb on stuff alot, but i'm wondering what IS a priority....

outlet covers, doorknob covers, and cabinet locks are standard in our house (but with 3 toddlers, we don't have any knickknack stuff around). will doorknob/outlet covers be enough?

thanks for your help!

I stayed in the cabins last month. My cabin was not childproofed. I stayed there with 2, 4 year olds and a 17month old. We were all either sick or busy, so the lack of childproofing was never an issue..... Take your stuff with you if you feel more comfortable, the outlet covers would be a good idea.

When I stayed in the cabins last time, the only thing I really wished I had was some kind of gate to block off the deck. Logan loves to play outside with her bubbles (great item to pack) but she kept wanting to go down the stairs and around the loop. By the way, a regular door size gate won't do the trick as the opening is larger than the average door.

thanks for the thoughts....

i am planning on bringing a playyard, so we can use that to block off the deck

...all of the sudden, i have WAY to much stuff to bring!!!!!!!!!!!!

asktriplets: if you mean that you are going to bring a pack and play type thing, they already have one in the cabins that you can use. Have fun! :-)

are hazardous! We just returned from a cabin with our 2 and 4 year old boys. They were constantly in and out of the upper bunk. Just watch diligently. Nothing else was an issue. Enjoy!!! I hope you get a golf cart. They will love it!
