we are on the 3/20 7 day eastern and have just been givencabin 7625 and 7327. Anyone have any info on these rooms? is it noisy being near the engine? is the ride more rough near the back of the boat? seems like there is easy accsess to the pool deck which is good(ithink) any help would be great

I've been in all four of the category 7 cabins right across the hall, 7622-7628. I like this location a lot. There's very little foot traffic or noise. You don't really hear the engines that high up on the ship. This is actually my preferred location on the ship. The aft balcony of deck 7 is right down the hall, and it's convenient to the aft stairs/elevators, so it's just a quick run up to get coffee or grab breakfast at the buffet.

As far as motion goes, everyone's experience is different, but I personally do not feel the motion more from fore to aft. I do feel it more the higher up on the ship I am, but then only slightly so.

We were in 7629 on the July 19 Western. The room was in a great location and was very quiet in terms of people noise (there was, of course, some ship noise when we were at sea). DW and I are taking another cruise in September and opted for the same area of the ship, except in the other hallway (i.e., port side this time).
