Cabinet refacing

Has anyone had their cabinets refaced? Was less expensive then new cabinets? Any info would be great.

DON"T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is not cheaper than buying new cabinets. You can go to Home Depot and buy cabinets and hang them yourselved for less.

DON'T USE SEARS for refacing if you decide to go through with it.

We only did this because we needed a quick "pick me up" for a house that was about to go on the market and didn't have the time to do it ourselves.

Please, order the cabinets and either put them up yourselves or find someone that will hang them for you-you'll be much happier.
