Cabin Thoughts???

We're on! We are sailing the Magic July 26th. Our cabin is directly across from the elevators #7044. Does anybody have any experience with noise levels near the elevators? Should we contact DVC/DCL and try to move?

The elevators are actually in a foyer area and the rooms are in hallways that connect- so you won't have noise from the elevators except maybe for people traveling past. I wouldn't worry about it. We have been in the front, back and middle of the ship and so far I haven't disliked any of the staterooms as of yet. We have always stayed on deck 5 and our next cruise (June 28) we will be on deck 2- in room 2500! Can;t get any farther up than that!

On our May 18th wonder sailing we had room 6112 and it was located close to the aft elevators. We heard no noise whatsoever. I loved being close to the elevators b/c it was a short trip up to the pool and deck 9. (Those hallways got long after continuosly chasing my 2 yo) Also ditto what you were already told, the elevators are in a foyer type and they really aren't right next to the rooms.
