Cabin Door Signs - Character Names PLEASE READ 1ST POST

I was planning on laminating the copy. Than I was going to buy magnets, such as business card magnets, and put on the back. I thought this would be less expensive than to buy magnet sheets. Anyone who has done this, will my idea work? Thanks

I did this and used magnetic tape. It did not work well though. The door sign kept falling down. The magnetic tape stayed on the door, but the picture kept falling off. Next time I am planning on using magnetic photo sleeves. That will also be a lot cheaper than the magnetic paper.

Tink Design Requests
I have 3 Tink designs - light purple background, aqua blue background and black with green swirls. If you prefer to have a certain design please let me know which one.

When we first tried making door magnets, I couldn't get our color printer to print on the magnetic sheets, so we printed on paper and laminated them. We had success taping over the magnets on the back of the laminated pictures with clear packaging tape (about 2" side). (Otherwise they came off.)

It worked so well that we're still using one of the door magnets a few years later!

I can do a design with the 3 kittens and one with Tom and Duchess, but I won't be able to make individual designs for each character. There just aren't a lot of pictures out there of the Aristocats.

Are we on the same cruise?

Thanks for the kind words. It took quite a bit of time to put the index together, but I figured it would benefit everyone, including me. I hope everyone looks at the index first and tries to use the names that I've already posted, before making a request.
