I just got my tickets and I am so excited. it looks like the last cabin aft. Does it have a verandah? Is the verandah's view blocked by a white wall?

any info would be great.
leaving May 29 and already half packed.

That stateroom is a mirror image of my favorite stateroom, 5650. It is indeed the last guest stateroom aft, and because of that, there is an almost total absence of hallway traffic. I love the heavenly peace and quiet. :D
You may hear some engine noise, but for me that lulls me to sleep (of course, I sleep with a white noise machine so I love that kind of sound). In the morning, you will hear the thrusters as you pull into port. That's always my wake-up call (well, not always...sometimes I make a mental note that we've arrived and then drift back to sleep).
It does have a solid metal verandah rail, but the verandah is larger sized than usual. Go to my website and look up the photos of 5650 and you will see what it will be like. I hope you will like it as much as I do!

I checked it out and it looks great. Engine noise won't bother me near as much as hall traffic and music from the discos or shows.
I like that it is near and on the same deck as the oceanner club.
My 5yr.old is going and that will be convenient.
I was guarrenteed a cat. 9 so this room was a great surprise.
thanks
