Cabanas Restaurant Open on 3-night?

One of my friends just returned earlier this week from a 3-night Dream Bahamas cruise. She said the Cabanas Restaurant on Deck 11 was closed at night for dinner; and was only half of Cabanas was open during the day. I called DCL and they said Cabanas should always be open for dinner no matter the length of the cruise. Can someone who has been on a 3-night please confirm? I'm planning to skip the rotation dinners and just do Cabanas.

You will be missing out on some great food if you just go to Cabanas. We planned on that as well and changed our minds and boy are we glad we did. The restaurants are so nice, the servers are so nice and the food is SO good.

I've been on DCL before. The restaurants in my opinion were just Okay. The reason I want to do Cabanas vs restaurants is because my daughter did horrible with late dining but she needs the early (6:30) show time. So I was planning to do Cabanas for dinner at 5:30pm so we can go to the early show.

Just a little info - Cabanas usually doesn't open for dinner until 6:30 (on the nights it is open for dinner).
