This is our 5th Disney Cruise (gold next time!!!). We were able to book a cabana a few cruises back and absolutely loved it. Since traveling on the Fantasy we have never been able to book a cabana. Do they have a wait list onboard and what do you think the chances are of getting a cabana while onboard? :sad1:

Concierge suite guests seem to have the first choice of the CC cabanas. After that, platinum, gold, and then silver. Obviously, they are more popular with certain cruises, so you may just have been lucky to get one in the past.

Your chances are close to nil, no matter which ship you sail on. The cabanas are typically all snapped up by concierge guests (& the classics recently added a new concierge category, so they have even more concierge guests than before). You might get lucky by stalking the website, especially around 3 days before sailing, or by getting on a waiting list onboard, but don't expect to get a cabana. It's very unlikely to happen.

There is a waiting list, but no guarantee. We were #1 on the waiting list on our last cruise but didn't end up getting one unfortunately....but hey, never hurts to try! You never know!

They do. Concierge guests get to have their cabana requests entered before the booking window opens for platinum.

For the level of service they are paying for, it is only fair that concierge guests get first shot at the cabanas.

We are platinum and have not been able to get a cabana on FB anytime we have been sailing The Fantasy. Too many Concierge rooms on those big ships, makes it next to impossible to get one. We have been able to get one on SB though.

Two cruises ago, I kept checking the DCL web site and about a month out from the cruise, cabins on both the family and adult beaches opened up. I snagged cabin 25 on the adult beach. Keep checking every couple days and one might open up.

Yep, I stalk the website too, I have been lucky a few times that way.
Also, on the smaller ships I have put my name on a waitlist after we board and have gotten lucky that way too.
