Cabana question

What are the benefits of a cabana on CC? Trying to decide if it's worth it! TIA!

It is all relative. Is it expensive yes but you weigh it based on many factors. My hubby is extremely claustrophic and doesnt do well in crowds. The cabana was more than worth it for this reason alone. But some extras we used was concierge was able to get us root beer for our fridge so we were able to have root beer floats, not coke floats like other people drink. I cant stand coke. I was also able to have club soda in the fridge. We shared the cabana with one other adult couple so it wasnt quite as expensive. Having a hammock all day was nice, the ride to and from the cabana was nice, the shower at the cabana was nice. These are all nice things and probably dont add up to the actual cost but as others have said we dont do any other port adventures at CC so in all it was totally worth it to us. And we are retired so money is tight for us. We budget accordingly.

Wow, that is expensive !!!

Last week Captain Jack Sparrow walks up to our Cabana and screams, "Are you rich?". My wife replies, "No we're quite poor". Jack responds with, "Well you're definitely poor now after paying for this cabin!".

As mentioned, it's all relative. It was our 20th wedding anniversary and I burn easily so it was worth it's weight in "Gold" for me to be able to stay out all day on the beach with my wife.

We did a 3 night Concierge on the Dream last August. It was very reasonable since it was the end of August. So, we took advantage of getting a Cabana. We loved it. Then private beach, free floats, snorkeling gear, bicycle and our own loungers & umbrella. And that is not even in the CabAna. Shade...shade shade. Own fridge with drinks, fresh fruit and snacks. Quiet and private place to eat lunch. Our own Hammock and privates shower.

The Cabana makes CC even more heavenly. We had a late day down pour. 75% of the guest fled the island. We just we back to the Cabana and hung out till he Storm passed and then went back in the water. We were some off the last guest back on them boat.

We did not use the Cabana host /hostess that much, but they come by early to check on you to make sure you know about all the amenities. But they were a buzz away for dry towels or a cocktail. We were ridden back to the shuttle by a golf cart. The same way we got to our Cabana.

We we loved it and will get a Cabana when ever we can. We also feel in love with Concierge. We were a family of five DH, me and 3 sons (14, 16 and 20 at the time.). ️

Thank you all! We are also doing concierge on a 3 night Cruise on the Dream in October! To say we are excited is an understatement! We have 2 kids, 4 & 8!

if you do concierge... do it! worth the cost of concierge! it's awesome!
