I paid $254 for a full day a few weeks ago. Not sure if half day pricing is just half that?

Not at all as I get back this morning I will check when I get home. I was thinking of doing a half-day and a full day and I know that I was planning on spending over 500 for both. Full day was over 300 and half-day was about $100 less. I will post exact numbers as soon as I get home. I need to pull out the DSS number and make my cabana reservation

I just pulled up my correspondence with DSS and my credit card statement. My full day cabana rental on 4/1/17 was $254.45, including tax. Full day is 10AM-7PM. I was charged in advance (the day I made the reservation).

That's certainly possible about seasonal pricing. And I thought $254 was pretty high!

Our cabana was the second one 'down' from the bathroom building in the pic below. All four cabanas are circled.

I was quoted a GF cabana 2nd week of August. Full day is 10-7 $318.44 and a 1/2 day is $211.94. Like GADisneyDad said, they charge your card the day you reserve the cabana. However you can cancel up to 24 hours before day of use.

It's still $254 for a full-day cabana at CR. GF rates did go up recently.

Does anyone know if the pool at BLT has cabanas for rent? When I called to reserve mine at CR, they asked which pool I wanted - the feature pool or the "other" one. I said feature, which I think is the main pool at CR, but now I am wondering if the other pool is BLT or if they mean the smaller quiet pool? Thoughts?

Hmmm, can't answer your specific question but there are cabanas at the quiet/leisure/"bullseye" pool at CR, in addition to the ones at the feature/main pool. I would 'assume' they meant the bullseye pool. ???

I don't believe that CR guests can use the BLT pool, but BLT guests can use the CR pools.

Mind you we rented the 'hut with chairs inside' for all our pool days but wondering if its something we'll cancel for the other days after the first day.

LOL - we are planning to rent these as well but I'm actually kind of glad they are just a basic shade structure with chairs. We are already paying for Poly CL so I think the price of their "patios" is more in line with what I'd like to pay...not the $250+ per day at GF and CR. We'll just haul our own drinks out and I'll bring paper drink umbrellas from the Dollar Store and everyone can be happy

totally agree - im sure DH already timed the distance between Hawaii and the Oasis Pool for his beer run and undoubtedly the "im thirsty" out of the kid every 5 minutes. LOL
