Cabana & Dive In Movie Info @ HRH Needed!

I have performed a search & the answers given didn't seem to be definitive. We are considering moving our trip up a couple weeks, & may now be at HRH over a weekend. This will be the 1st or 2nd week of July. What day is the movie on. It may be too late to get a cabana for that night. If not, which cabanas can you see the movie from? Thanks for any help you can provide for my last minute scramble to see if I can get everything rescheduled in time to go early.

Unless they plan on changing it we were just there and the dive in movies were on wednesdays and fridays. The other evenings they had entertainemnt as well. A live band one night a comedian and a dj on another night. It was all awesome! We rented cabana #9 and I loved the location as well as the updated look.

Cabana #1 & #2 are best for the dive-in movie. We were in #1 and it was directly in front of the screen (the screen is on the opposite side of the pool). The movie was on a Friday night.

Tell me more!!! All this stuff sounds like more fun than a movie. We love comedy. What was it like, & how long did it last? Was it something our DS(14) would enjoy, or is it more for younger kids? As I've mentioned before, our DS's a music fanatic. A live band would be great!!! Do you know how far ahead they have a schedule for? I'd like to try to find out what type of entertainment they have each night. We may prefer to get a cabana one of the other nights, & plan our nicer meals for movie nights.

I'll tell you, this was the first time all this poolside stuff was going on while we were there. Every other stay at HRH only had the dive in on a selected night so we were pleasantly surprised. Each night we made a point to be poolside at dusk.

The guy (wish I could remember his name) that was doing comedy would do some entertaining and then play some music for breaks. His humor was not aimed at little kids it would be fine for your son and older. He was interactive. The live band they had on Sunday was awesome! We stayed in the pool till closing and so did many.

One think that I am assuming is that due to our stay falling over a holiday and the hotel was sold out, I feel that maybe they offered more in the way of entertainment. Maybe this will be a common occurance during the summer, I just dont know. I do know the pool was a gret place to be no matter what. The mellow atmosphere was great.

The way things usually run with schedules at these hotels, I seriously doubt you will get a straight answer much further than one week out. But, you could try!

Each evening the entertainment (and some days) lasted all night long.
