Hi all!! Well, I've booked another long-awaited yearly trip for HHN this September and have questions about Cabana Bay. My 15yo DD and I will be staying our first night at CB and not going to the parks. Just crash at the pool and wander around, exploring the hotel while waiting for our room to be ready, then City Walk to wander and eat dinner. We will be driving down, and I don't feel like waking up at 5am, driving for 6 hours, then hitting the parks till late and being a grumpy Guss. The next morning, we will check in to Royal Pacific early and hit the parks for the rest of the trip. I'm wondering if I should consider renting a cabana by the pool at Cabana Bay or wait till we are there or if even get one. Confession: Volcano Bay cabana spoiled me rotten, lol. I just don't know if we have the cabana, will we get our monies worth, is it fixed where they put you or first come, first serve for prime spots? Can you rent them for half a day and is it worth it?

I have always been curious myself. I think the Cabanas are only one side of the resort not both of the pools. They look nice. I also know that prices fluctuate depending on how busy the resort is. Also the pool with the cabanas has only been open on the weekends. I wonder if this has changed. I would only spend the money if you are going to spend a lot of time at the pool. Price it. I haven't seen them completely full but then I've never been there during the summer/Busy times but just in the off times.
