Cab ride from Citywalk to Windsor Hills

We are heading to Disney this summer and thought it would be fun to have a "date night" while we are down there. My mom is going and thought that one night my DH and I could head to Citywalk and have some fun. I really didn't want to drive there (both of us would like to drink) but then really didn't want my mom to have to drive out in the night to pick us up (with the kids). So my question is what do you think about taking a taxi back to Windsor Hills from Citywalk? Has anyone done something like that? What do u think the cost would be.

Here is some information that may give you an idea, but you might want to call taxi company and verify, as it was current in January.

Goodtimes Taxi – (407) 847-8777
- $50 roundtrip up to 8 people to Disney
- $70 roundtrip up to 8 people to Universal

That's a good idea...you never know if Windsor Hills has an agreement with a cab company that would save you a bit of money.

Good idea! There's also this compay that runs the shuttles from Windsor Hills and also have taxis. Maingate Taxi – (407) 870-5553

Sounds doable though, especially one way, and also sounds like a nice adult evening out!!!

I wanted to update the information I had and to confirm it so I called Maingate Taxi and Goodtimes Taxi.

Maingate Taxi: 407-870-5553

Shuttles to Disney from Windsor Hills at the end of this month will be raised from $10 person to $11 per person but that is for a round trip.

Shuttles to Universal from Windsor Hills at the end of this month will be raised from $14 per person to $15 per person, but that is for round trip.

These shuttles run regular times from the Clubhouse, schedule I believe is at the Clubhouse.

Taxis are based on mileage.

No discounts for Windsor Hills guests.

Taxi from Windsor Hills to City Walk is $30 to $35 one way, add $3 per person for each person over 5 persons.

$50 round trip for up to 7 persons to Disney
$65 round trip up to 7 persons to Universal.

Picks you up at your doorstep so can schedule anytime.

Taxi from Windsor Hills to City Walk is $35 one way.

These prices are the discounted prices for Windsor Hills guests.

Unless there is a specific thing you want to do at City Walk, would be a lot closer to do your "date night" at Downtown Disney. They have the House of Blues and Raglan Road, plus a movie theater.
