Cab from Pop to DTD Help

I am going to Disney in a few short days and I had a question I was hoping one of you might be able to help me answer. My parents are arriving before us and are going to lunch before we get there. We are all staying at pop century and they are going to Down Town disney for lunch. I was wondering if anyone has ever taken a cab from pop to DTD. If so how much was it, did you have to call in advance (If so who did you call) and how long did it take to get there? I know they offer the free bus but they are going to a show right after lunch and are worried about time. Any info would be a great help thank you.

There's a taxi fare estimator link in the Popular Transportation Links sticky thread at the top of this forum.

Common wisdom is, cab fare on property is generally $20 or under.

If there are no taxis when they exit the Pop Lobby, they should just ask Luggage Assistance for, well, assistance.
