cab fare DTD to POP

Since another thread has suggested to me that WDW busses are not a great way to get from DTD back to POP for DME to MCO (don't you love acronyms!!), anyone know what a taxi might cost? And, if I take a taxi, can I reasonably get one and get back to POP in a 1/2hr? Short trip & I'm trying to extend as much as I can!!!

I've only used a taxi at WDW once, Epcot to AKL with a short side trip to the rehearsal studio around the corner from AKL to pick up DD - that cost $25 with tip!

There is a taxi fare estimator at mearstransportation.com. Just plug in the addresses of Pop (1050 Century Dr, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830) and Downtown Disney (1710 E Buena Vista Dr, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830).

I have used a cab from DTD to the Boardwalk. There are always cabs waiting.
