I don't have a CAA membership yet but am thinking of buying an a la carte one (that Granny Ev mentioned) for only $30 + GST. This membership gives you no auto benefits but other benefits (such as hotel discounts).
I am thinking about booking POP for two weeks 12/06 and I think that these rates are available this August from WDW. So instead of being paranoid about trying to get a general code of some sort (which I think don't exist anymore) I would simply book a CAA rate (20% off value rates/value hotels) and still keep checking for some sort of general public discount rate to appear. I think with the CAA rate I could still stay at POP at a good price.
Does this math make sense to anyone?
14 nights at $79 US/nt(value rates during value season 2006) = 1106
tax (11.5 %) = $127.19
equals= 1233.19
minus 20% = $246.63
= 1233.19-246.63= 986.56 US$
or should I take the CAA discount off before I add in the tax???
Thanks
Suzy V.
