For those of you that booked thru CAA and received this make sure you pick up you picture while you are at the house of mouse, you can no longer order online. We missed out this year as I thought we could order at home. When I got home the voucher says order with in 7days of photo being taken and online ordering not available. Ticked me off, but I did have the benefit of ordering with my MVMCP photopass card with 40% off discount. Just don't want any of my Dis buddies being in the same boat as myself. Take Care and Happy Holidays everyone!! Digskat

Funny you should mention this...
We booked directly with WDW travel, and got the usual free 5x7 voucher. Several times during our stay, we were kindly reminded by photogs to use our voucher before checking out... since it was no longer valid for online orders.

is this available to all CAA booked trips, our TA did not advise us of this, for our trip coming in Feb?

Dido!!! I'm going in March and haven't been informed of this either. I wonder If I'll be informed when I get my package in Feb.

Hi there,
When I booked through CAA there were alot of details that they didn't tell me about. If I'd read the booklets in more detail I would have found them but ...

The one that I was most upset :headache: about was you get vouchers for a Storytime with a Character that you are supose to pre-book and it's only available on certain days at MK.

There's a CAA Diamond card for prefered parking, a CAA discount for different places, 1 voucher for mini-putt (you'll have to pay for anyone else in your party), the photo voucher, and a few other 'teaser' freebees. I call them teasers because you only get one person free from your travel group.

wow, this is all news to me. I did not get a booklet? What was the name of the book they gave you?' all i got was a receipt for the trip details but no other details about what is included. How far in advance did you get the booklet and such. i would like to book the character reading too?

It was the booklet that you should find on the shelves. Advertizing the various resorts etc. I picked up all of the booklets (I think there were 3). You should have been given these to look at when you were choosing your resort.:confused3

We already knew which resort we wanted,...POP so, she did not give us anything, i guess maybe when we go pick up our documents shortly, they will give them to us

Maybe Canadian CAA users, can list what you get. That way we can all make sure that we get what we are entitled to.
Last trip i remember getting a voucher for Storybook time with Belle beside the castle, but we never used it.!

Can I ask what kind of discounts CAA gives on WDW resorts? I'm already booked for a few days from now, but it would be handy to know for our next trip. Thanks!

What you are entitled to changes based on what type of package you have booked. The storytime vouchers are included only if you book a package with dining. If your reservation is room only that includes different things than packages do. The photo voucher, I believe, is only if the agent books the package through the disneytravelagents website. There are times when this is not possible. All of the vouchers are included with the final documents that arrive 2-3 weeks before your trip. Most TA's will not use these vouchers as a selling tool because things change all of the time. Also I think it is a nice little "surprise" at the end when going through final documents.

The "booklet" being referred to is the AAA vacations Disney brochure. Disney also sends a how to booklet a little closer to departure.

Remember one thing.....CAA travel agents are still just travel agents. Like any agency you go to ask to speak to an agent who specializes in Disney...one who has been there, not one who has just completed an online course.

All things equal you will always get a better deal with a CAA package, to maximize the experience get an agent who knows what they are doing!

Listen to Tracey, she knows what she is talking about.:thumbsup2 I am a very satisfied customer. She even tried to get me a code when she was on holidays and leaving for her wedding at WDW. Who could ask for a better agent than that??:)
